Projects

Jindřich Chalupecký Society aims to initiate and support innovative and experimental artistic, curatorial and research activities and to contribute to strengthening the role of contemporary Czech art in the local and international environment, including the regions outside the main cultural centers. That is why we organize further independent program lines besides the traditional Jindřich Chalupecký Award.

Jindřich Chalupecký Award

Award for visual artists active on the Czech art scene. Laureates are selected by an international jury.

The World of Jindřich Chalupecký

The research and expansion of the archival materials, curatorial and theoretical work related to the figure of Jindřich Chalupecký, particularly contemporary references to his life and work.

Interventions

Interventions and pop-up exhibitions of Jindřich Chalupecký Award holders and finalists of the previous editions in the expositions of regional galleries.

Café Chalupecký

An open series of public programs most often held in collaboration with international guests.

Islands: Possibilities of Togetherness

A long-term collaborative research, exhibition and discursive project entitled Islands, initiated by the Jindřich Chalupecký Society and realized in collaboration with diverse international partner organizations and personalities.
